ERP Procurement Lead needed in Stoke - Paying £350 per day - ref 5273998
Full-time hours on a temporary basis
Key Duties
1. Oversee procurement workflows within the ERP system, ensuring smooth and effective purchasing processes.
2. Partner with internal teams to assess procurement requirements and offer expert advice on best practice approaches.
3. Maintain and manage contract registers, ensuring full compliance with government procurement legislation.
4. Leverage SAP Ariba and S4HANA to optimise procurement functions and improve data integrity.
5. Ensure all procurement activities comply with the Procurement Act 2023 and other applicable regulations.
6. Design and execute procurement strategies that support financial goals and operational priorities.
7. Produce and deliver analytical reports to stakeholders, offering actionable insights and recommendations.
What We’re Looking For
1. Strong analytical capabilities with a proven ability to interpret and reconcile complex datasets.
2. Experience thriving in fast-paced environments and adapting to evolving business demands.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate across all levels.
4. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other data analysis tools.
5. Deep understanding of public sector procurement practices and systems.
6. Familiarity with managing contract registers in regulated settings.
7. Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba and S4HANA is highly advantageous.
