The Role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take a leading commercial role across highways and infrastructure schemes in Scotland.
Key responsibilities include:
* Full commercial management of multiple projects
* NEC contract administration and change management
* Preparing and negotiating interim applications and final accounts
* Cost forecasting and reporting
* Managing subcontract procurement and performance
* Identifying and mitigating commercial risk
* Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff
This role requires someone confident operating independently while collaborating closely with operational and senior leadership teams.
About You
* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure
* Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts
* Experience managing projects commercially from inception to completion
* Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
* Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously
