Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent communication skills while ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standard. as head housekeeper you will be responsible for stock checks, order lists, COSHH handling and maintenance of all up to date COSHH files, leading your domestic team.
Duties
* Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas
* Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and free from dust and debris.
* Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and efficiently.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
* Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
* Follow established health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
* Previous experience of head housekeeping working in care homes is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met consistently.
