We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants/Support workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in a variety of settings, including supported living, residential, and care homes. Your primary responsibility will be to assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. This position is ideal for someone who possesses strong communication skills and has a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
Requirements:
* Responsibilities:
* Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support individuals with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
* Help with meal preparation and feeding as required, adhering to dietary needs and preferences.
* Maintain accurate care plans and documentation of patient progress and changes in condition.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on care.
* Uphold the dignity and respect of all patients while providing emotional support and companionship.
* Qualifications:
* Minimum of 6 months experience working in a supported living or care home environment.
* Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with patients and team members.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
* Familiarity with creating and following care plans.
* A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support to individuals in need.
