In collaboration with several consortium partners, Balfour Beatty has been selected by BP (British Petroleum) to build a first-of-its-kind, fully integrated gas-fired power station with carbon capture and storage. This project is a key step towards making Teesside the UK’s first decarbonised industrial cluster.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Land Survey Data Manager to contribute to the Net Zero Teesside project at our new site in Redcar and Cleveland.
What you’ll be doing
* Managing data related to survey models, machine control, data collection, and monitoring.
* Collaborating with IT to provide suitable solutions for the project.
* Ensuring the resilience of survey data and storage solutions for the project.
* Managing subcontractor interfaces and third-party data collection when applicable.
* Inputting survey data into design solutions as part of the technical project lifecycle.
* Maintaining site records of all data-related tasks, including the survey data management plan.
Who we’re looking for
* Expertise in survey-related data management software.
* Experience interfacing with design partners.
* Knowledge of and ability to check design deliverables in various digital formats.
* Experience setting up and maintaining machine control systems.
* Understanding of geodetic requirements for construction projects.
* Skills in implementing up-to-date survey data capture methods, data input, and management within design models.
