As a valued Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining and managing the classroom. You will have the opportunity to work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis, as well as assist in a more general capacity.
We are looking for individuals with a variety of SEN experiences to support learners who need it most. The ideal candidate is patient, kind, forward-thinking, proactive, and cooperative.

Contract/Position Details
* Location: Bristol
* Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
* Type of work: Carrying out professional duties, supporting groups and 1:1 pupils, ensuring safety and welfare, small group work, reading, forest school activities, supporting lesson delivery
* Start Date: September 2025 - ongoing assignments
* Rate of pay: £110 - £135
* Hours: 08:30 - 16:00
Experience
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (not essential)
* Experience in Primary Schools
* Experience with inclusive classroom practices
* Understanding/support of SEND requirements
* Experience supporting learning with various strategies, both group and 1:1
* Driving (not essential): able to travel via public transport
Eligibility
To be eligible through Prospero Teaching, you must:
* Have the right to work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
* Provide two professional child-related references
