Electromechanical Technician - Workshop - Full Time - Falkirk, United Kingdom

Join the expanding Falkirk Service Centre! We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Electro Mechanical Engineer to be part of our Services Team. Your role will involve disassembly, mechanical QA checks, electrical testing, overhaul, repair, assembly, servicing, and maintenance of various high and low voltage AC motors and generators, primarily focusing on high voltage machines.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
* Installation, removal, and replacement of HV motors, generators, and white metal bearings.
* Skills in laser alignment, baker testing, electrical winding, vibration analysis, and on-site balancing are desirable but not essential.
* Leading or working as part of a team or independently on customer sites within the UK, offshore Oil/Gas Installations, and internationally.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A recognized Electrical/Mechanical engineering apprenticeship.
* Strong electrical and mechanical skills.
* Experience working with HV electrical rotating machines (motors and generators).
* Knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, and health and safety legislation.
* Experience in overhaul and repair of electric motors and generators (LV & HV), as well as other rotating equipment like pumps and gearboxes.
* Understanding of health and safety requirements.
* Ability to interpret mechanical drawings.
* Flexibility and adaptability.
* AEMT/EASA training is advantageous.
