About the Role We are looking for a confident, calm experienced SEN Nanny to support a busy family with three children. The role will involve taking the children on days out, organising activities and play. Supporting the children’s emotional and behavioral needs. Hours School Holidays (18 weeks/year): • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 am – 5:30 pm. • Friday: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm If additional hours are required during Term Time: Childcare : 3 days a week – 3.30pm – 7.30pm Housework – 3 days a week - 12.00pm to 3.30pm (this is not essential) we can also offer additional hours across a range of childcare, support and alternative education services if desirable Candidate Requirements Minimum Level 3 childcare qualification. Experience with SEN Children and have an intuitive response to children’s needs. Experience in dealing with challenging behaviour Confident, calm and resilient when managing behaviour and setting boundaries. Ability to work independently and part of a team. Driving licence and use of a car, essential (for school pick-ups and outings). Ultimately have energy and enthusiasm and the ability to be flexible Pay & Benefits £17.50/hr while Ofsted registration is in progress. • £18.50/hr once Ofsted registered (typically within 12 weeks). • Paid monthly by Freedom Care. • Training, support, and supervision included.
