Enterprise Partner Solutions, part of Microsoft’s Industry & Partner Sales (IPS) organisation, is accountable for building and co-selling innovative Microsoft Cloud & AI solutions and services with our global Enterprise partners. Our Enterprise partner portfolio includes global systems integrators, advisories, high-value management consultancies (SI), independent software vendors (ISV), and software development companies (SDC) – working together to empower people and organisations to achieve more.

As a Partner Solution Sales Manager (SDC PSS), you will be responsible for driving the commercial performance of your ISV/SDC partners. Your role involves creating sustainable sales impact with partners and customers, both in the short and long term, while developing end-to-end solution selling expertise. This position calls for a strong work ethic, enthusiasm, optimism, and a customer-focused approach. Success in this role requires a challenger mindset, sales management skills, and a deep understanding of technology and industry trends.

Your responsibilities include fostering growth within the partner ecosystem, enabling partners to deliver market-defining solutions to customers, and building strong, collaborative relationships with complex partner organisations to resolve intricate challenges. Qualifications

1. Experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development within the technology industry or a related field

3. Experience in Enterprise Sales or partner sales or SaaS or Cloud solutions
4. Experience in sales pipeline management and cross-functional team orchestration

Responsibilities

As a Partner Solution Sales Manager, your responsibilities will be:

Partner Development and Growth

5. Develop and execute strategic and tactical partner business plans aligned with Microsoft’s goals and objectives to help managed partners grow their business.
6. Promote cloud adoption and AI transformation, ensuring plans reflect both short- and long-term goals and performance expectations tailored to partner needs and capabilities.

Partner Sales and Acceleration

7. Create go-to-market strategies and co-sell execution plans, lead partner pipeline reviews, and coach partners to evolve their sales and consumption strategies.
8. Facilitate collaboration between partner and Microsoft sales teams to overcome challenges, compete effectively, and deliver proposals that meet consumption and revenue targets.
9. Work with partners on top opportunities using Microsoft’s sales methodology and prioritise transactions through the Microsoft Marketplace.

Partner Performance and Impact

10. Drive partner performance with Microsoft by maintaining a regular rhythm of engagement with executive, sales, and marketing teams to identify and resolve blockers.
11. Accelerate adoption, usage, and performance of programmes and investments that contribute to sales and consumption.
12. Implement corrective action plans when execution falls below expectations.

Executive Relationship Building

13. Build trusted-advisor relationships with C-suite leaders of complex partner organisations, aligning priorities, strategies, and goals with Microsoft’s to achieve strategic growth and mutual success.

Advocate for Partner and Team Mobiliser

14. Represent partner interests and lead orchestration to resolve complex and urgent escalations.
15. Guide internal teams to prioritise partner solutions and issues, engaging across groups internally and externally to accelerate performance and execution.
