Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team with various procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. Responsibilities
* Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use.
* Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
* Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using IT systems effectively.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
* Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications to enhance patient experience.
* Support the dental team in maintaining an organised and efficient work environment.
Skills
* Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
* Proficient in English with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
* Background in nursing or relevant healthcare experience is preferred.
* Familiarity with IT systems for managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
* Exceptional organisational skills to maintain a tidy workspace and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
