Teaching Assistant – Warrington (WA5)

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Warrington (WA5) is looking for a motivated Teaching Assistant to join their team after October half-term. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting pupils’ learning, helping to create a positive classroom environment, and ensuring every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Role Overview:
* Provide hands-on classroom support under the direction of the class teacher.
* Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce key learning objectives.
* Help to prepare and organise teaching materials, classroom displays, and learning resources.
* Offer encouragement and guidance to pupils, promoting confidence and engagement.
* Support pupils with additional learning needs to ensure they can access the full curriculum.
* Contribute to a calm, supportive, and well-managed classroom environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or relevant classroom experience).
* A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
* Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with staff and pupils.
* A patient, caring, and adaptable attitude, with a genuine interest in children’s education and wellbeing.
