FLT COUNTERBALANCE DRIVER / WAREHOUSE OPERATOR

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 08:30 – 17:00

£12.21 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operator to join our client based in East Kilbride.

This is a dual role combining operating a Counterbalance forklift with manual warehouse duties, including heavy lifting and order picking, for a leading Renewable Energy Parts Distributor.

Day to Day Duties

* Working in a small but busy warehouse environment
* Picking and making up customer orders — this is the main focus of the role
* Heavy lifting and manual handling of large products including solar panels and renewable energy equipment
* Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck, mainly for unloading deliveries and loading outgoing orders
* Carrying out pre and post-use safety checks on the forklift
* Packing orders carefully and efficiently
* Following Health & Safety procedures at all times
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
* Supporting general warehouse tasks as required
