We have an opportunity for a candidate to join our longstanding Clients Linehaul Operations team on a temporary basis. The role is responsible for supporting daily operational activities, driver coordination, fleet management, and communication with internal and external stakeholders. Contract: Temporary 6 months Hours: Monday to Friday, 2x 14:00 hrs to 22:00 hrs & 20:00 hrs to 04:00 hrs Review: Following the six-month period, the role will be reviewed and may be advertised as a full-time position. Key Responsibilities Assigning drivers and vehicles to scheduled linehaul runs and ad-hoc extra movements Printing scan sheets, run plans, and driver instructions (including agency drivers) Reporting and logging tyre defects on trucks and trailers Requesting agency cover for holidays, sickness, and additional collections Producing and managing the daily VOR report and overseeing fleet maintenance activity Liaising with the fleet maintenance team and third-party providers for servicing and repairs Downloading vehicles and updating system records Building and amending tours using ROCS Operate/Manage Communicating throughout the day with drivers, providing updates to runs and changes as required Dispatching and debriefing drivers Uniform ordering Liaising with planning and scheduling teams for weekend and bank holiday tours Conducting agency inductions Managing email communications between stations, hubs, customers, and sales account managers Dealing with vehicle breakdowns and operational disruptions How to Apply Please submit your application detailing your relevant experience and why you would like to be considered for this role.
