Crime & Regulatory Partner – Manchester - Up to £120,000
A leading Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked firm with a standout reputation in crime and regulatory law is seeking a Legal Director or Partner to join its expanding team, with national and high-profile clients.
This is a rare opportunity to take a senior leadership role within a highly regarded practice, handling complex regulatory matters while supporting the Head of Department and shaping the future growth of the team.
The Role
* Lead on a wide range of business crime and regulatory matters, including inquests, public inquiries, Ofsted and CQC investigations, health & safety and environmental law
* Act for clients across the private, public and charity sectors on contentious and non-contentious regulatory matters
* Supervise, mentor and develop junior lawyers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture
* Take on day-to-day operational management of the team, relieving pressure from the Head of Department
* Deliver consistently high-quality client service while meeting agreed billing and performance targets
* Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the practice
The Candidate
* Established Senior Associate, Legal Director or equivalent with strong regulatory/crime experience
* Confident managing sensitive and high-stakes matters
* Experienced in team supervision and operational leadership
* Commercially minded with a proactive, client-focused approach
* Strategic, ambitious and ready to make a meaningful impact within a market-leading practice
