We're looking to recruit a Scheme Manager (Independent Living - Over 55s) in the Liverpool/Wirral area to support our social housing client on an ongoing, temporary basis. This is a part-time role, working 25 hours per week, paying between £15 - £ per hour.
You'll be responsible for overseeing the day to day management of the independent living scheme, providing high-quality customer service and tenancy support to all residents.
Key responsibilities:
1. Carrying out morning calls and visits
2. Monitoring care packages within the scheme to meet relevant support needs and person-centred care
3. Rent collection and supporting tenants in arrears or at risk of tenancy failure bypleting assessment of need/risk and devising affordable payment plans where appropriate
4. Dealing with low level anti-social behaviour, breaches of tenancy and any other nonpliance
5. Assisting with viewings, lettings and sign-ups
What you'll need to succeed
6. Proven experience in a similar housing/tenancy management related role, ideally having worked with over 55s or vulnerable individuals
7. Experience of lone working and customer service in a customer-facing role
8. Knowledge of welfare benefits, care services available through various agencies and safeguarding procedures
9. Ability to determine different support needs of tenants
