They are expanding their sports focused media business and are actively looking for an Operations Head of Media — a strategic operator who can turn creative chaos into scalable systems and help their media division run like a high-performing machine. This role requires relevant experience in a sports focused or iGaming media function.
You’ll be the right hand to the CEO, shaping how their teams deliver campaigns, content, and client results at scale. If you thrive at the intersection of creativity, structure, and technology — this role is built for you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Leadership & Systems
* Design and maintain efficient operational systems for content production, campaign delivery, and client success.
* Implement project management frameworks (Asana, ClickUp, Notion) to ensure visibility, accountability, and timely delivery.
* Continuously refine workflows for efficiency, quality, and scalability.
* Own documentation of key processes, SOPs, and internal knowledge.
2. Project & Production Management
* Oversee the full lifecycle of media production — from concept briefing to publishing — ensuring quality and deadlines are met.
* Coordinate resources across creative, strategy, and production teams.
* Manage timelines, approvals, and interdepartmental communication.
* Ensure smooth onboarding and internal alignment for new client campaigns.
3. Performance Tracking & Analytics
* Build and maintain dashboards to track campaign performance, team efficiency, and company KPIs.
* Work with leadership to define and refine success metrics.
* Translate analytics into actionable operational improvements.
4. Technology, Tools & Automation
* Evaluate and integrate technology solutions (including AI tools) to streamline workflows and automate repetitive tasks.
* Manage system integrations across project management, CRM, and content distribution tools.
* Stay ahead of emerging tools and trends in AI, automation, and media tech.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
* Act as the operational link between creative, strategy, and leadership teams.
* Clarify priorities, dependencies, and execution plans.
* Support leadership in translating vision into quarterly and weekly goals.
6. Quality, Accountability & Growth
* Establish clear accountability systems to uphold quality and brand standards.
* Track deliverables, identify risks early, and propose solutions.
* Support team growth through process clarity, structured feedback, and resource planning.
What You Bring
* 3–5 years in a media operations or project management role — ideally within social media, digital content, or creative production.
* Proven ability to design and optimize operational systems for fast-moving creative environments.
* Strong project management skills, with experience in tools like Asana, Notion, or ClickUp.
* Confident in campaign analytics and reporting, with data visualization as a plus.
* Comfortable with tech and AI tools — curious about how automation can drive smarter workflows.
* Excellent communication, prioritization, and leadership skills — you keep projects on track and people aligned.
* A balance of structure and adaptability — you can build systems but stay flexible when the plan changes.
