1:1 Secondary Teaching Assistant – SEN Support

Salary: £90–£100 per day (PAYE)

You’re the steady hand every classroom needs.
We’re looking for calm, caring, and confident Secondary Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 support for pupils with special educational needs. If you’ve got experience working with young people who need a bit of extra encouragement to thrive, this could be your perfect role.
You’ll be working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to:
* Support pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, or mental health challenges
* Help students access the curriculum and develop independence
* Create a safe, structured, and positive learning space
* Build trust and celebrate small wins every day

* Experience working with SEN students (school or youth setting)
* A patient, empathetic approach
* Great communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
