The Role:
As an Accounts Technician / Accounts Senior in the Business Services team, you will play a pivotal role in producing client accounts, delivering high-quality services, and producing high quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing year-end accounts for a variety of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
* Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
* Supporting junior staff with training and development.
* Liaising directly with clients to ensure smooth communication and problem-solving.
* Working closely with senior managers and partners on client advisory projects.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards.
The Ideal Candidate:
* AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/ACA (or equivalent).
* Proven experience in an accountancy practice environment.
* Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and client engagement.
