Finance Assistant

As Finance Officer, you'll report directly to the Finance Director and take ownership of a range of day-to-day finance tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
* Daily stock reconciliation and resolving finance-related queries
* Sales invoice preparation and client invoicing
* Credit control and management of the sales ledger
* Processing purchase ledger invoices and reconciling supplier statements
* Recording expenses, mileage claims, and ad-hoc costs using Sage 50
* Overseeing insurance renewals and company vehicle records
* Providing occasional admin support to other departments and taking incoming calls
Experience and skills:
* AAT qualified (or equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar finance/accounts role
* Confident in using Sage 50, Microsoft Excel, and Word
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy
* A self-starter who's comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* Strong administrative and communication skills
* Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach
