Tender Specialist / Tender Manager, UK

Mindray UK is currently looking to hire a Tender Specialist / Tender Manager to closely support the growth of our Patient Monitoring and Life Support (PMLS) business. You will be responsible for the day to day management of all the UK tenders. Liaising with the sales and marketing team in order to respond to and complete the tender applications. This will include the management of NHSSC relationships and tenders. management skills to interact with various stakeholders for successful tender submission.
Responsibilities include:
* Regular monitoring of upcoming public tenders / sales opportunities
* Preparation and submission of high-quality documentation and contract documentation connected to public tenders and bids
* Liaise with the sales departments, PMLS and UIS, to notify them of upcoming tenders
* Co-ordinate and monitor programme delivery requirements against timelines
* Interpret procurement documentation and develop compliant tender responses
* Maintain contacts with the customers in relation to tenders, contracts and other business offers
* Ensure continuous improvement in the quality and presentation of tender submissions
* Administer customer contract pricing and ensure pricing governance according to company policy
* Acquire and update all necessary documentation (regulatory and administrative)
* Interact with the local authorities
* Cooperate with approved legal counsel
* Regular follow up of changes in tender legislation
* Participate in and support local regulatory projects
* Cooperation with other departments and personnel/offices as per internal policies/procedures and legal requirements
* Maintain tender / opportunity pipeline
* Work along side NHSSC to ensure Monthly / Quarterly sales data is provided and provide to line manager
* Attend regular NHSSC meetings to ensure prior warning of any tender / sales opportunities
What are we looking for in you?
* Experience in working and overseeing tendering requirements / process with NHS / NHS Supply Chain is critical
* Experience in writing and dealing with processes and procedures in a busy administration environment
* Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen
* The ability to interpret procurement documentation and manager full tender lifecycle
* The ability to engage cross-functional teams effectively
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* System knowledge & experience in Jagger system used by NHSSC
* Level of advanced for SAP Systems
* Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
* Well organised and able to function independently with limited supervision.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Results and quality oriented
