Scope
This role sits within a central engineering project office, providing flexible project management support across a portfolio of programmes. You will be deployed where needed most—supporting active development, legacy programme close-out, or contributing to project management improvement initiatives.
Role
Working under the direction of a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of defined Work Packages, ensuring delivery against Quality, Cost, and Schedule (QCD) objectives.
You will act as a key member of the Integrated Project Team, coordinating day-to-day activities and ensuring structured, on-time delivery within a complex engineering environment.
Responsibilities
* Own and deliver assigned Work Packages to QCD targets
* Coordinate cross-functional teams within a matrix organisation
* Develop and maintain project structures (WBS, PBS, OBS, RBS, CBS)
* Support creation and governance of Project Development Plans
* Manage project schedules from master plan to detailed execution level
* Track progress, actions, and deliverables using project management tools
* Identify and manage risks and opportunities, including mitigation planning
* Support cost estimation and alignment to programme budgets (NRC/RC)
* Define and monitor milestones and Critical to Quality metrics
* Contribute to continuous improvement within the project function
Required Experience
* Proven project management experience within an engineering or technical environment
* Strong track record of delivering against Quality, Cost, and Schedule targets
* Experience operating within structured, stage-gate development frameworks
* Background in Work Package management and cross-functional coordination
* Experience in risk management and cost estimation
* Familiarity with multi-level scheduling (programme to detailed level)

* Ability to manage complex project data and competing priorities

* Understanding of engineering development lifecycles
Required Education
* Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline,
* or equivalent industry experience
