A leading accountancy and tax advisory practice in Bradford is seeking a Corporate Tax Director (Advisory) to join its senior leadership team.
This is a highly strategic, client-facing role with a strong advisory focus, offering responsibility for complex corporate tax projects, leadership of the corporate tax team, and a key role in business development and growth.
This opportunity is ideal for a senior CTA-qualified corporate tax professional looking to operate at Director level with a clear pathway to further progression.
The Role
* Lead and deliver high-value corporate tax advisory engagements, including restructures, acquisitions, disposals, and group planning
* Provide authoritative technical corporate tax advice, supported by legislation, case law, and HMRC guidance
* Act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders across a diverse corporate client base
* Take ownership of the commercial performance of the corporate tax advisory function
* Identify, develop, and deliver tax planning opportunities for existing and new clients
* Work closely with Partners on strategic advisory and growth initiatives
* Lead business development, including proposals, pitching, and networking
* Build and maintain strong internal and external professional relationships
* Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical direction to Senior Managers and Managers
* Liaise with HMRC on complex technical and advisory matters
* Ensure robust risk management, governance, and quality control across all engagements
* Contribute to the wider firm strategy and development of the tax advisory offering
Candidate Profile
* CTA qualified (essential)
* Extensive post-qualified experience in UK corporate tax advisory
* Proven experience operating at Senior Manager or Director level
* Strong technical expertise across corporate tax and related advisory areas
* Commercially astute with strong judgement of risk
* Demonstrated success in business development and revenue generation
* Confident advising at board and shareholder level
