1to1 Group are recruiting for a part-time Library Assistant to support our clients team in Andover. As a Library Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the library, ensuring that resources are accessible and well-organised. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a passion for promoting literacy and learning within the community.
Role Details:
·£13 per hour.
·Andover.
·Temporary on-going (with the possibility of going permanent).
·Monday and Tuesday 9am- 4:30pm, Wednesday and Friday 9am- 2pm.
Responsibilities:
·Meeting and greeting library users on reception.
·Sorting books and other learning resources.
·General administration duties.
·Assist in locating and borrowing library materials, including books, magazines, and digital resources.
·Organise and maintain library collections, ensuring items are shelved correctly and in good condition.
·Provide basic instruction on using library resources, including catalogues and online databases.
·Manage circulation desk operations, including checking in/out materials and processing new acquisitions.
·Maintain a clean and welcoming environment within the library space.
