Job Description
This is a highly trusted, senior‑level role supporting the Family Principal across both professional and personal matters, requiring sound strategic judgement, full operational ownership, and absolute discretion.
The position extends well beyond a traditional Executive Assistant remit. The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner, operational lead, and trusted proxy to the Principal, helping to design, manage, and execute the day‑to‑day operations of a dynamic international family office.
The role demands an individual who can operate seamlessly across personal, professional, strategic, and operational domains, bringing exceptional judgement, accountability, and discretion to everything they do.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary right hand to the Principal, providing end‑to‑end support across business and personal matters.
* Manage and anticipate complex schedules, logistics, and priorities in a highly fluid, fast‑moving environment.
* Serve as a proxy for the Principal when required – attending meetings, managing stakeholders, and progressing initiatives independently.
* Lead and coordinate projects across the family office, ensuring ideas are executed from concept to completion.
* Support investment‑related activities across healthcare biotech, life sciences, biomimicry, conservation, and impact initiatives.
* Oversee international travel arrangements and be available to travel at short notice for extended periods.
* Handle highly confidential matters with absolute discretion.
* Identify risks, foresee issues, and proactively solve problems before they escape.
* Work closely with other senior hires to help build structure within a lean, entrepreneurial environment.
Requirements
* Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in a senior EA, executive partner, chief‑of‑staff‑type, or equivalent high‑trust role.
* Working hours mirror the Principal and may extend beyond standard business hours.
* High availability and responsiveness are essential.
* Not a career diary manager – this role requires strategic thinking, ownership, and execution.
* Highly adaptable, resilient, and comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities.
* Strong project management capability with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
* Tech‑savvy and AI‑literate, comfortable using modern tools to optimise efficiency.
* Comfortable with extensive global travel.
* Exceptional communication skills; fluent English essential.
* Trustworthy, discreet, emotionally intelligent, and able to operate within a very small, trusted circle.
