HLTA (Primary)
Teaching Personnel is looking to appoint a confident and experienced HLTA to work within Primary Schools across York. We are looking for both full-time and part-time candidates who are available to start ASAP. These temporary positions offer a competitive daily rate of £100 – £115 per day, paid weekly on a PAYE basis.
Qualifications and Experience:
• HLTA status or relevant Level 4 qualification (or equivalent experience).
• Experience working within a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Experience delivering small group interventions and supporting whole-class learning.
• A clear DBS check (or willingness to apply for one). If you don’t have a DBS, we can support with this.

• A confident practitioner who can lead learning activities and occasionally cover classes where required.
• Someone who can support pupils of varying abilities, including those with additional needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
