Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a caring, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in Barry.
No Previous School Experience Required
If you have experience with children through personal life, care work, sports coaching, or youth activities, we’d love to hear from you. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
Providing 1:1 classroom support to a pupil throughout the school day
✨ Creating a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
Building strong relationships with pupils to boost confidence and engagement
Delivering clear and encouraging feedback
️ Supporting child-led learning activities
⏳ Assisting pupils with additional learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Down Syndrome, and others
Supporting with behaviour management when required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
