To do this role you will have experience of designing UK clean water networks and a robust understanding of CDM regulations in the design process.
You will deliver projects to programme, within budget, to the correct quality standards. Be part of developing the future design team!
To do this role you will need to.
1. Work to CDM
2. Understand STW H+S standards
3. Be (or work towards being) principal designer
4. Build, Drive & Manage your own programme
5. Deliver to agreed timescales
6. Design Clean Water Networks
7. Understand hydraulics within a water system
8. Understand pipe connectivity
9. Work with hydraulic Modellers to optimise designs
10. Design with carbon reduction in mind
11. Prepare Key Deliverable documents
12. Undertake site visits
13. Attend and input at site meetings
14. Develop and build relationships
15. Engage & influence stakeholders
16. Engage in third party liaison
17. Work in a dynamic team
18. Work with minimal supervision
19. Learn and deliver to current regulations
20. Mentor team where appropriate
21. Challenge standards
You’ll take projects right through from project inception through optioneering, outline and detailed design and construction support.
