We are currently recruiting for a 12‑month FTC Assistant Finance Manager in Barnsley. You will support the Finance Manager in all financial, commercial and administrative duties, and manage a team while working with stakeholders and daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
This is a full‑time, FTC position, Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day
* Ensure that all daily, weekly and monthly internal and external reporting is completed accurately, on time and within the required timescales.
* Manage your team to ensure completion of their roles through delegation.
* Liaise with the MI Manager and Ops Planning Manager to align information issued by the finance department.
* Implement and maintain full reconciliations for payroll, agency, registers and trackers in collaboration with operations.
* Provide senior management, operations and customers with proactive information and recommendations to support decision making.
What you need to succeed
* Demonstrable experience in a similar role with open book accounting.
* Experience preparing accounts to a senior level.
* Exceptional communication and IT skills, including Excel and PowerPoint; SAP (advantageous).
* Experience managing a team and consistently meeting deadlines.
* Ability to manage individual workload efficiently and effectively.
