Role Overview
The Revenue Performance Manager will take ownership of
revenue delivery across a defined portfolio of RBH‑managed hotels, including a
number of 5-star properties. This role will be home based but with a
considerable UK Travel element to support the on‑property revenue managers to
maximise market performance, strengthen commercial decision‑making, and drive
hotel‑level revenue culture.
You will act as the strategic commercial partner to
General Managers and hotel leadership teams, ensuring each hotel achieves
optimal performance across rooms, suites, events, F&B, wellness, spa, and
ancillary revenue streams.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of
hospitality, strong analytical capabilities, and proven experience influencing
senior stakeholders at property level.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Leadership & Strategy
* Lead
the hotel‑level revenue strategy, ensuring each property maximises market
share, ADR, occupancy, and total revenue performance.
* Partner
closely with General Managers, Directors of Operations, Sales, Marketing,
and F&B teams to deliver robust, forward‑looking commercial
strategies.
* Analyse
market conditions, competitive landscape, pricing opportunities, and
demand drivers to set and shape hotel strategy.
* Champion
a culture of total revenue management, ensuring decisions reflect long‑term
profitability and brand positioning.
Revenue Performance Management
* Oversee
daily revenue performance routines at hotel level, including forecasting,
pricing, inventory controls, and channel optimisation.
* Own
suite tiering, luxury room categories, upsell strategies, and premium
product packaging to maximise yield.
* Collaborate
with Sales on luxury‑segment strategies including high‑net‑worth leisure,
golf, incentive, and international markets.
* Ensure
high‑quality forecasting and budgeting processes, balancing commercial
ambition with operational deliverability.
On‑Property Influence & Collaboration
* Act
as the trusted commercial advisor to hotel leadership, attending and
leading revenue, commercial, and owner‑related meetings as required.
* Work
shoulder‑to‑shoulder with operations teams to ensure service delivery,
product availability, and guest experience align with revenue opportunity.
* Train
key on‑property teams on pricing rationale, upselling, distribution
awareness, and revenue recovery strategies.
Systems, Data & Insights
* Ensure
consistent use of revenue management and distribution systems (PMS, RMS,
CRS, GDS, OTA extranets) across luxury hotels, aligning with brand and RBH
standards. Drawing on responsibilities highlighted in the original Revenue
Operations Manager role.
* Validate
data accuracy, develop insight‑driven reporting, and translate analytics
into clear commercial actions.
* Identify
automation and efficiency opportunities to enhance the revenue function.
Luxury Portfolio Projects & Continuous
Improvement
* Lead
commercial readiness for new product launches, refurbishments, and
repositioning of hotels.
* Partner
with Marketing to design premium packages, seasonal campaigns, and luxury
brand storytelling initiatives.
* Monitor
guest mix, length of stay, channel shifts, guest behaviour, and luxury‑segment
performance to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
* Provide
coaching, support, and guidance to on‑property revenue and reservations
teams, raising the standard of capability across their designated portfolio.
* Confidently
represent revenue strategy in owner meetings, commercial reviews, and
cross‑functional forums, mirroring similar responsibilities in the
original role.
* Foster
a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Proven
revenue leadership experience within upscale or luxury hospitality.
* Strong
analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex data into clear
decisions.
* Confident
communicator who can influence senior stakeholders and owners.
* Deep
understanding of segment dynamics, guest expectations, and premium pricing
strategies.
* Comprehensive
understanding of different PMS, RMS and distribution systems, with Knowledge
to recommend appropriate IT solutions for different hotel scales.
* Commercially
creative with the ability to design and implement high‑value guest
propositions.
* Adaptable,
proactive, and energised by a fast‑moving commercial environment.
