7.5T Driver - Seaham | Driving Industry
We are currently recruiting for a 7.5T Driver - Seaham to join a busy and fast-paced operation within the driving industry. As a 7.5T Driver - Seaham, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality service to customers while representing the business professionally. This position is ideal for a reliable 7.5T Driver - Seaham who enjoys hands-on work and thrives in a team environment within the driving industry.
What does the role involve?
* Delivering and installing furniture in customers' homes
* Working through a delivery schedule with the support of your crew mate
* Supporting the wider distribution centre team with loading and unloading furniture
* Providing excellent customer service and encouraging feedback
* Carrying out vehicle checks and driving safely at all times
* Working 44 hours over 4 days (every Sunday off) - flexibility required during peak periods
* Heavy lifting involved throughout the role
Who are we looking for?
* Previous experience in a driving role (essential)
* Valid Category C1 (7.5T) licence
* Driver Digital Tachograph Card
* Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
* Good understanding of vehicle safety and tachograph regulations
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to follow processes and procedures accurately
* Customer-focused with a commitment to high service standards
* Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
* Hard-working and reliable team player
* Warehouse experience (desirable but not essential)
Pay & Benefits
