We’re looking for a hands on Vehicle Dismantling Manager to lead day to day operations across two large workshops, with up to 12 dismantling stations handling high-value vehicles, LCVs, 4x4s, EVs and manufacturer pre-series vehicles. This role sits between a supervisor and a production manager, which would be ideal for someone with strong mechanical knowledge who’s ready to lead from the front. You’ll manage staff, ensure safe and efficient dismantling processes, and drive performance against production and quality targets. You’ll also work closely with the Production Executive and Maintenance Engineer to keep stations running smoothly and continuously improve standards. What You'll Be Doing Lead and manage all staff and day-to-day operations across both dismantling workshops. Oversee dismantling of a range of vehicles including: High-value cars and SUVs LCVs and 4x4s Electric vehicles and hybrids Manufacturer pre-series and production line rejects Ensure all parts are removed, inspected, and handled safely to maximise resale quality and value. Maintain control over the full dismantling process including: Removal of glazing, panels, doors, interiors, suspension, sub-frames, powertrains, dashboards, wiring looms, and sub-assemblies. Sorting and separation of recyclable materials and waste streams in line with environmental standards. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality procedures at all times. Liaise daily with the Production Executive and Maintenance Engineer to maintain proactive servicing of tools, lifts, and equipment to avoid downtime. Monitor and report on KPI performance — including output, quality, and efficiency metrics. Identify and implement process improvements that enhance productivity, safety, or profitability. Train, coach, and develop dismantlers to ensure skills and performance meet operational expectations. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in a vehicle dismantling, automotive, or production environment Solid mechanical knowledge (Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience preferred) Strong people management and organisational skills Hands-on approach (not office based) Ability to prioritise, problem-solve and hit daily targets under pressure A genuine leader who can motivate teams and improve performance Why Join Us?
