Our client is a global alternative investment manager that is looking to grow considerably over the next few years and their London operations are now looking to recruit for a fully-qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) Fund Controller with professional training from a Big 4 (or top 10 chartered accountancy practice) coupled with experience from industry, preferably within a Private Credit fund. Profile Criteria: Fully-Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) candidate with professional training from a Big 4 (or top 10 chartered accountancy practice) firm. Industry experience (min. of 3-5 years, the more the better) from a Private Credit fund. The ideal candidate would need closed or some open-ended fund experience. Strong knowledge and experience of reporting under IFRS and US GAAP. Articulate and confident with excellent stakeholder management skills. Responsibilities / Tasks: Lead and manage the financial reporting process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS Oversee NAV calculations, investor allocations, and capital activity (calls, distributions, subscriptions, redemptions) Review and approve quarterly and annual fund financial statements, investor reports, and regulatory filings Liaise with external auditors, fund administrators, and tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely deliverables Implement and maintain robust internal controls and procedures around fund operations and accounting Provide support with portfolio analysis, structuring, and ad hoc reporting Monitor compliance with fund governing documents (LPA, offering documents, side letters) Assist with system/process improvements, including automation and scalability initiatives across fund finance Provide input into valuation processes for illiquid investments in coordination with the Valuation Committee Mentor and supervise junior members of the team
