Job Description: Administrator

As a key member, you will be the face of Howards Accountants for clients, communicating via various channels including face to face, software, and email.

Key Responsibilities:

* Greeting clients in the office and establishing their needs
* Taking client calls and emails and responding accordingly
* Booking client records into software and requesting missing information
* Using a variety of software to ensure compliance
* Liaising with HMRC
* Scanning correspondence, service address and working papers
* Updating and managing client records, including phone numbers, emails, deadlines, personal information
* Ad hoc tasks as requested

Requirements:

* Experience using Xero is preferred
* Experience in using Outlook, Excel, and cloud based software is essential
* Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to multi‑task
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience
* Be highly efficient and organised
* Team player and have a good rapport with the clients
* The ideal candidate should be self‑motivated and able to work independently and meet deadlines
* Perform tasks to a high standard and in a timely manner
