A warm and welcoming mainstream primary school in Kingston is currently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their Year 2 team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic classroom environment and is committed to making a positive impact on pupils' learning and development.
The Role:
* Supporting multiple pupils in a Year 2 class with a range of SEN needs
* Working closely with the class teacher to adapt resources and deliver tailored interventions
* Supporting pupils in and out of the classroom, encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
* Assisting with classroom routines, activities, and small group learning
* Helping create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
* Experience working with children with SEND (in a school or childcare setting)
* A proactive and nurturing attitude
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A valid Child-Only Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
* Full-time availability (Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm)
* Able to commute to or based in Kingston or surrounding areas
