What will I be doing?
To work in our busy IT service desk team providing 1st- 2nd line end-user support in a fast-paced environment; to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and services.
1. Provide 1st and 2nd line support to end users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently in line with SLAs.
2. Conduct stock checks regularly to ensure an adequate supply of hardware for end-user support.
3. Work with 2nd and 3rd line engineers to resolve more complex tickets, escalating where necessary.
4. Work with a variety of operating systems, including Microsoft, Apple, and Linux products.
5. Perform hardware upgrades and repairs, such as laptop memory and hard drive replacements.
6. Set up new starter laptops and accounts.
7. Process leavers and ensure safe return of assets.
8. Participate in projects as required.
9. Keeping stock, server rooms and office areas tidy.
10. Attend other offices as required.

Ideally, we’re looking for:
Essential
11. Minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting end users' IT needs.
12. Proficient in providing both 1st and 2nd line IT support.
13. Familiarity with Microsoft, Apple, and Linux operating systems.
14. Possession of a full clean UK driving license.
15. Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP and general networking.
16. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related problems.
17. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
18. Ability to work well in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
19. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desirable
20. Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
21. Experience in Amazon Web Services administration
22. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
23. Experience supporting Linux technologies.
24. Experience supporting Apple technologies.
25. Experience with PowerShell
