KS2 Teacher required for a full-time post in a Wallasey primary school for 2 terms starting September 2024 Your new company We are seeking a full-time KS2 Teacher to join the dedicated team at a dynamic primary school in Wallasey on the Wirral. The role is for two terms starting in September 2024, although there will be the possibility of a fixed term or permanent contract for the successful candidate from January 2025. The school will consider any scale of teacher including ECTs but candidates must have previous experience of teaching key stage 2 classes. Your new role As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners and follow the national curriculum. You will also be expected to assess and monitor pupil progress, provide feedback and support, and work collaboratively with other staff and parents. In addition you will take active involvement in extra-curricular activities and in the wider life of the school. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this KS2 Teacher role, you will need to have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one Experience of teaching key stage 2 classes Evidence of continuing professional development Excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skills A positive and enthusiastic attitude A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children We welcome applications from teachers of all levels, from M1 to M6 scale.
