As a Consents Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of consents and permissions required for energy projects, specifically focusing on Development Consent Orders (DCOs) and consents management.
Are you experienced in securing land rights and managing consents for infrastructure projects? Join our team and play a key role in delivering vital utility projects across the UK.
Key responsibilities include:
* Securing land and property consents such as wayleaves, easements, leases, access rights, planning permissions, and land purchases.
* Supporting infrastructure works across underground, overhead, and ground-based installations on private and public land.
* Engaging with stakeholders including landowners, agents, local authorities, and contractors.
* Ensuring compliance with legislation like the Electricity Act 1989, planning rules, and land rights regulations.
* Managing claims, negotiations, and compensation related to land access and statutory notices.
* Overseeing contractors and consultants involved in consents and land rights services.
* Maintaining accurate records and reports for project progress and audits.
* Collaborating with project teams including engineers, legal advisors, and environmental consultants.
* Improving internal processes related to consent management.
Candidate requirements:
* Experience in utilities or infrastructure sectors (electricity, water, gas).
* Proven ability in land rights management and securing statutory consents.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
* Knowledge of UK land and planning laws.
* Negotiation skills for land agreements and issue resolution.
* Project coordination experience across multiple sites.
* A full UK driving license is essential.
