Our Client who is a leading provider of Technology, Civil Engineering, Design and Telecommunications services with the Highways sector are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager/Buyer to join the at there Yorkshire office.
The Role
* Building and maintaining relationships with Suppliers and Subcontractors
* Purchasing of materials, equipment and services
* Coordinating delivery of materials and equipment
* Responsible for the stock management
* Managing the on and off hire of plant whilst maintaining appropriate levels of plant
* Negotiating the best price on goods and services
* Work with the Quality Manager to ensure the services and goods provided are compliant
* Maintaining the Supplier Database
Candidate Requirements
* Good communicator with external and internal stakeholders
* Experience in negotiating
* Strongadministration
* Adaptability to work on multiple activities simultaneously
* Experience of MS Office Suite
* Knowledge of the Highways /Construction Sector
