My client’s residential nursing home in Birmingham is inviting applications for an experienced and motivated Nursing Home Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a well‑established 40+ bedded elderly care service and drive high standards of care, compliance, and operational performance.
About the Role
As the Nursing Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and day‑to‑day running of the home. You will ensure the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred care while maintaining full compliance with CQC regulations and organisational standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the operational and clinical management of the home
* Lead, support, and develop the staff team
* Ensure compliance with CQC standards and internal policies
* Drive occupancy levels and maintain excellent resident satisfaction
* Manage budgets, resources, and performance targets
* Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
Requirements
* Nurse qualified (NMC Registered) – essential
* Strong leadership and management experience within elderly care
* Proven ability to drive quality, compliance, and occupancy
* Excellent communication, organisational, and people‑management skills
