The Christie is one of Europe's leading cancer centres, treating over 60,000 patients a year. Based in Manchester, we serve a population of 3.2 million across Greater Manchester & Cheshire, with around 15% of patients referred from other parts of the country. We provide radiotherapy, chemotherapy, highly specialist surgery, and a wide range of diagnostic and support services. We are also a leader in research, with a history of world-first breakthroughs and running one of Europe's largest early clinical trial units.

The IPU is a nurse-led, fast-paced, dynamic service comprising a procedure team, interventional radiology, ultrasound, surgical dressings, outpatient clinics, day surgery admissions, operating theatre, and recovery bays. You will join this complex multidisciplinary team with a comprehensive induction.

This role is for 20 hours, worked over 3 days. The IPU admin team covers from 07:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday. The unit is closed on weekends and Bank Holidays. This is an excellent opportunity for part-time work with a good work-life balance in a fast-paced environment.
