We are now seeking a motivated Internal Sales Representative to join our dynamic team to support our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Sales Support: Assist the sales team in managing leads and client inquiries, ensuring timely follow-up and providing necessary product information.
* Account Management: ownership of existing customers, managing their growth and target achievement.
* Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our fire and security products, including Ajax alarms, Uniview & Vivotek surveillance systems, and access control, to effectively communicate benefits to customers.
* Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
* Trade Counter: willingness to step in occasionally with day-to-day trade counter activity when required.
* Quote Preparation: Prepare and send accurate quotes to clients, ensuring all specifications and requirements are met.
* Order Management: Process orders and coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and installation of products.
* Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
* Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM & ordering processing systems.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to support promotional campaigns and product launches.
Skills and Attributes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
* Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge and familiarity with fire and security regulations and standards are a plus.
Qualifications
* A good standard of education and practical up-to-date IT skills.
* 2+ years of sales experience in the electronic fire and security industry or a related field.
