CNC Machinist Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting, programming and operating machines to produce products of the required quality standards and specifications.
You will be working with a range of materials including Non-Ferrous, Aluminium, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Inconel, and Titanium. Your role will involve using various measuring equipment such as micrometres, Vernier's, plug gauges, screw plugs and ring gauges.
In addition to your technical skills, you will have excellent communication and teamwork skills. You will be willing to learn and develop new skills, and train others as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Programming and operating machines to produce products to required tolerances and specifications
* Working with a variety of materials, including metals and alloys
* Using precision measuring equipment to ensure high-quality products
* Maintaining accurate records of production and quality control
Requirements:
* A time-served CNC Machinist with relevant experience
* Excellent programming skills and knowledge of CNC machines
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
