Reporting to: Marketing & Fundraising Manager

Location: Office-based, Manchester

Contract: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Start Date: April 2026

About Broughton House

Broughton House Veteran Care Village is one of the North’s leading veteran charities. Based in Greater Manchester, we provide outstanding nursing, residential and dementia care for veterans of the British Armed Forces and deliver wider community support for veterans and their families.

With a proud history and an ambitious future, we are more than a care provider. We are a community built on respect, dignity and opportunity — supporting veterans not only where they live, but wherever they are on their journey.

As we continue to grow, so does our ambition. We are expanding our Marketing team to strengthen our brand presence so we can be there for as many veterans and their families as we can. This is an exciting moment to join us as we evolve how we communicate and connect.

About the Role

This is a newly created role, available due to the expansion of our Marketing function.

The Marketing & Partnerships Executive will be responsible for delivering high-quality, consistent day-to-day marketing activity while actively growing partnerships, sponsorships and brand advocacy.

This is a hands‑on, delivery-focused role. We are looking for someone who sees potential everywhere — in a local business collaboration, in a community event, in a social media trend, in a compelling story waiting to be told.

This role exists to ensure our marketing is consistent, creative, measurable and impactful — and to help expand Broughton House’s reach in ways that feel modern, engaging and human.

As a Marketing & Partnerships Executive you will:

1. Drive Marketing Delivery

* Own and deliver day-to-day marketing activity across digital, email, social media and website channels
* Create engaging written, visual and video content (long and short format)
* Edit video content using platforms such as CapCut or equivalent
* Manage and grow social media channels with a focus on engagement, storytelling and community-building
* Support the delivery of quarterly campaigns across both charity and care home, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand
* Manage website updates and support SEO improvements
* Build and deliver email campaigns through CRM/email marketing platforms
* Support event marketing and communications

2. Build Partnerships & Sponsorships

* Identify and develop new corporate, community and brand partnerships
* Support and contribute to sponsorship pitches and partnership proposals
* Actively seek new sponsorship opportunities aligned to organisational priorities
* Enhance and activate existing partnerships, bringing innovative ideas to maximise impact
* Identify brand ambassadors and influencer relationships
* Support influencer marketing initiatives to expand visibility and reach
* Continuously bring fresh ideas to strengthen partnership and brand activity

3. Collaborate & Measure

* Work closely with the Marketing & Fundraising Manager to implement marketing and partnership strategy
* Collaborate with the Community Engagement & Fundraising Officer to align campaigns and income-generating activity, as well as our external PR and SEO partners.
* Track performance metrics across digital campaigns, partnerships and content
* Contribute to marketing reports and share insights that inform future decisions
* Take ownership. Solve problems. Move projects forward.

Who You Will Work With

You will report directly to the Marketing & Fundraising Manager and work closely with the Community Engagement & Fundraising Officer, as well as our external PR and SEO, and grant‑writing partners.

You will collaborate across the organisation — from care teams to senior leadership — and build relationships externally with partners, sponsors and community stakeholders.

Occasional evening and weekend attendance at community and fundraising events may be required.

About You

You are a strong all-round marketer. Creative, analytical and commercially aware. You enjoy owning projects from idea through to execution.

You bring energy into your work. You believe marketing in the charity sector does not have to be predictable or overly corporate — it can be engaging, relatable and bold while remaining respectful and purposeful.

You are confident running day-to-day marketing activity independently. You are organised, proactive and solutions-focused. You bring ideas to the table and you know how to turn them into action.

The right candidate

* 2–4 years’ experience in marketing, partnerships or communications
* Strong content creation skills across written, visual and video formats
* Experience editing both long- and short‑form video content
* Copywriting, storytelling and persuasive writing ability
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence presenting ideas
* Experience in social media strategy and implementation
* Familiar with CRM and email marketing platform experience
* A good understanding of SEO principles and website content optimisation
* Experience using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut (or equivalent editing platforms)
* An analytical mindset, able to interpret data and apply insight to improve performance
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
* A proactive, can‑do attitude with a problem-solving approach

Why Join Us?

* Competitive Salary - £30,000 per annum DOE
* 37.5 hours per week with flexible starts
