Salary: £42,839 - £44,075 per annum
Team: Children Looked After, Children with Disabilities, Child Protection
Hours: Full time and part time hours available
Car driver: Yes
Hybrid working: typically 3 days in the office
Role
Social Worker - Children Looked After. This vacancy is in the children looked after team. The team is responsible for managing cases of children who are looked after by the local authority, subject to full care orders or who are in care proceedings.
Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of looked after children and young people
* Develop, implement, and review care plans in line with statutory requirements
* Undertake statutory visits, assessments, and reports
* Work collaboratively with families, carers, and partner agencies
* Support permanency planning including fostering, adoption, or reunification
* Participate in court proceedings where required
We also have positions in other Teams (children with Disabilities and Child Protection).
Qualifications
* CSW/CQSW/DipSW/BA/MA in Social Work and/or completion of ASYE or 3 years experience
* Current Social Worker England registration
* Current Enhanced DBS Disclosure
* Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
* Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
