About this role:

We’re looking to further accelerate this growth with the addition of a Business Development Manager to the team to support our outreach strategy. Reporting to the Group Head of Business Development, you’ll be responsible for securing meetings and adding new sales leads to the Connective3 pipeline, as well as following up and managing the existing leads in the pipeline. This role will be instrumental in building our business.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead international lead generation initiatives through strategic, insight-driven outreach campaigns.

· Design and implement highly targeted, bespoke outreach strategies informed by in-depth research and market intelligence.

· Leverage market insights, data, thought leadership, and content to drive meaningful prospect engagement.

· Conduct detailed prospect research, qualify leads against advanced criteria, and secure high-quality appointments for channel experts.

· Act as a key POC in early-stage conversations, attending initial meetings and nurturing prospects until a clearly defined opportunity is ready to push.

· Report on personal KPIs, analyse outreach performance, identify messaging trends, and continuously optimise strategies.

· Collaborate closely with leadership and marketing teams to refine lead generation approaches and ensure alignment with strategic account priorities.

· Provide informal guidance and mentorship to junior team members, supporting onboarding and enhancing overall team capability.

· Maintain accurate and comprehensive CRM records, ensuring all activity is logged and sales enablement tools are used effectively.

· Find, organise and attend industry events to network and drive new business.

· Re-engage lost pitches, old contacts and previous conversations to nurture relationships.

Requirements

· Proven experience in an agency sales environment, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders across diverse industries.

· Strong proficiency in CRM platforms and sales enablement tools (e.g., HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator etc).

· In-depth understanding of agency service offerings, industry challenges, current digital marketing trends, and the competitive landscape.

· Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a consultative approach to prospect engagement and solution selling.

· Strong analytical capability, with experience interpreting performance data to inform and optimise strategy.

· High levels of resilience, self-motivation, and professionalism, with excellent time management and organisational skills.
