About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teachers to join a supportive secondary school in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a Science Teacher looking for either short-term or long-term positions, allowing you to make a real difference in students’ learning and engagement.
As a Science Teacher, you will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons, help students progress in science, and contribute positively to the wider school environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons as a Science Teacher across the secondary curriculum
2. Assess, mark, and provide constructive feedback to support student progress
3. Maintain excellent classroom management in line with school policies
4. Good Behaviour Management
5. Contribute to departmental planning and meetings as required
6. Promote the safeguarding, wellbeing, and academic growth of all students
Requirements – Science Teacher
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
8. Minimum 6 months UK experience Teaching in a school
9. Ability to teach science confidently across multiple key stages
10. Strong classroom management and communication skills
11. Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
12. Flexibility to work in short-term or long-term roles as a Science Teacher

13. This Science Teacher role is subject to an enhanced DBS check
14. Two references covering a minimum of two years are required
