Join the University of Hull’s Student Recruitment Team!

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to support our Events and Applicant Experience team in delivering exceptional recruitment events across the UK. This role involves organizing on-campus and off-campus activities, assisting with the applicant journey from enquiry to enrolment, and collaborating with colleagues and student ambassadors to ensure a smooth and engaging experience. Key responsibilities include data capture, event evaluation, logistics, and administrative support.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about higher education, with flexible working hours including evenings and weekends, and a willingness to travel. You will join a supportive, collaborative team during a period of exciting growth, helping shape the student experience and drive recruitment success aligned with the University’s strategic goals.


Shortlisting criteria:

1. Communication (Oral): Ability to exchange basic information promptly and courteously with students, colleagues, line managers, and external contacts.
2. Communication (Written): Ability to provide information in a suitable format, adjusting content to meet others’ needs.
3. Teamwork and Motivation: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, providing support and cover for colleagues.
4. Service Delivery: Knowledge of services available to users and ensuring a positive, satisfactory experience for customers.
5. Planning and Organisation: Ability to create realistic plans, monitor progress, prioritize tasks, and suggest improvements.
6. Initiative and Problem Solving: Ability to solve standard problems following established procedures.
7. Knowledge and Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and ability to learn new systems.
