Overview

BMW UK, Financial Services, Farnborough – Customer Retention Intern - 13 Month Placement (July 2026).

As part of the BMW FS Group, the Sales & Marketing area are responsible for delivery of exceptional Customer Retention across BMW, MINI & BMW Motorrad. Demonstrating a passion for Marketing, Digital and CRM, we’re looking for a highly organised, self-motivated individual who can demonstrate an ability to apply themselves and excellent attention to detail. This is a superb opportunity to gain experience of working with all areas of Sales, Pricing and Retention to support with national loyalty activities and campaigns to increase Customer Loyalty.


What awaits you

* Active management of our customer loyalty offers collaborating with internal stakeholders.
* Ensuring the Retailer HUB – our communications portal is up to date across the business areas, supporting departments with new content, imagery, links to enhance the Retailer Self-serve experience.
* Digital creation and management of the Retention App platform whilst maintaining the focus of the customer journey touchpoints.
* Involvement in creating slides for customer webinar interactions and training material.
* Support to drive customer satisfaction and collaborate with the National Sales Company (BMW UK).


Qualifications and experience

* Studying towards a bachelors degree and on track to achieve at least a 2:2.
* Ideally relevant work experience either in sales, marketing or the automotive industry to demonstrate your competencies would be beneficial.
* A genuine passion and interest in the automotive and finance industry.
* Confident user of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to use your initiative and manage your own projects/workload autonomously.

What do you need to do now?

* Returning to studies for at least 6 months after the placement.
