General Assistant

JD Gyms is an exciting, award-winning budget gym chain that is quickly expanding across the UK and taking the sector by storm. We invest over £1.5m in fitting out our gyms to create top-quality, stylish environments for our members. We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for cleanliness and can play an integral part in our gym team. You will maintain meticulous cleaning standards while interacting with members and ensuring the facility is safe and welcoming.


Responsibilities

* Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
* Maintain the JD Gyms Brand Standard.
* Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and safety checks.
* Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
* Ensure the whole gym facility is of the highest standard of cleanliness.
* Maintain uniform standards personally.
* Always deliver outstanding member service.
* Participate in colleague training videos to assist in the delivery of exceptional standards across the group.
* Undertake any other reasonable duties.


Skills and Experience

* Hard-working with strong interpersonal skills and great attention to detail.
* Passion for exceeding expectations.
* Previous experience in a similar role, with the ability to multitask and work unsupervised.
* Effective communication skills and approachable to members and other staff.
* Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety standards.
