A caring and inclusive secondary school in Cheadle (Stockport) is seeking a committed ASC Teaching Assistant to join their SEND department on a full-time basis from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for those with experience or a strong interest in supporting neurodiverse learners.
About the Role:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with ASC
* Assist in delivering structured routines and visual support strategies
* Help students access learning across the curriculum while promoting independence
* Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and external agencies to implement EHCPs and targeted support plans
* Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour in line with the school’s inclusive ethos

* Start Date: September 2025
* Contract: Full-time for the academic year (with potential to become permanent)
* Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (dependent on experience)
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:15pm

* Experienced Teaching Assistants with ASC/SEND experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
